Custom Orders
If you cannot find a design exactly like you want, or if you have a special logo that you would like embroidered on your gift, you may need to consider a custom design.
Embroidery machines are much like printers only, instead of printing with ink, they stitch threads. Special computer programs are used to create, or digitize designs which in turn are "read" by an embroidery machine. Because the process is so specific to the industry, common image files (such as gif, jpg, bmp, tiff, cdr, psd, etc.) are not able to be used "as is". The image that you provide us, will need to be converted (digitized) to a format that the embroidery machine can understand.
The cost for digitizing varies with each design, and is determined by the amount of stitches in the design. This cost is a one-time fee. After your design is digitized, you can use it for future items. Although digitizing can certainly be done for one item, it would probably not be cost effective to do so, unless you're going for a very unique gift. Digitizing is usually done when you want multiple items. Price for digitizing starts at $45.00.
